Reid’s Wolfpack

Reid's Wolfpack is proud to participate in this year's Cycle for Survival events, which raise funds for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. 

To Reid's Wolfpack- 

It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years since Reid was diagnosed with a brain tumor and he has been living through treatments, surgeries and hospital visits with many highs and lows for most of his life. It was during those early days that our community of friends and family rallied around us, lifted us up and inspired us to start Reid's Wolfpack. 

This dream team has raised close to $500K. All donations will continue to directly fund research for the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology team at MSK, so that they can continue to move clinical trials forward that Reid has benefitted from. 

Pediatric cancer, specifically brain tumor research, is the most underfunded and when first in line treatments don't work, families like ours rely on breakthrough clinical trials to give their children a real shot at long term survival.

2023 was monumental for Reid’s treatment journey. He completed a 2-year clinical trial and is the FIRST patient in the WORLD to do so successfully. We all knew he was a special boy and would make an impact for future patients. All data collected was used to help any child that follows who might need a similar treatment and the drug was just FDA approved! Unfortunately, Reid is back on treatment and responding well and in true Reid fashion he is persevering and an inspiration to us all. 

Cycle for Survival goes well beyond research. It has sparked and inspired a movement inside of Reid which he will carry with him throughout his life driven by philanthropy and rooted in kindness, generosity, and empathy.

As an entrepreneur he has designed Reid’s Wolfpack swag and has even inspired his friends to set up lemonade stands to raise money to help other kids like Reid.

I encourage everyone to pass this along and inspire your kids to do something to give back. 

Our GOAL this year is to raise $150K to get us to over the half a million-dollar mark. I’m confident we will hit our goal over the course of 5 rides in Darien, NYC, Armonk, Miami and Los Angeles: with each city holding a special place to our family.
