What to expect

biotech

As the Director of the Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Molecular Oncology (CMO), Dr. Solit has been at the forefront of developing breakthroughs like MSK-IMPACT®, a pioneering targeted tumor-sequencing test that helps doctors match patients with the most effective treatments.

The goal of the CMO is to expedite and streamline cancer genomics research to guide cancer treatment. The Leaders Circle plays a key role in accelerating genomic innovation at MSK, bringing more personalized treatment to patients than ever before.

For example, MSK-IMPACT wouldn’t exist without the Cycle for Survival community, which gave more than $25 million to support precision oncology at MSK and fuel the development of MSK-IMPACT from its beginning, long before it became the standard of cancer care.

This is a unique opportunity to learn more about your impact from one of MSK’s leading physician-scientists — who also happens to be a longtime Cycle for Survival participant. Dr. Solit has been riding on Team HOPP with his colleagues from the Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program since 2012.
