From Our Family to Yours—Thank You for Riding With Us

When Sienna was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer, our world stopped.

This year, riders in Darien, Woodbury, and New York City are coming together under one name—#SiennaStrong—and we can’t put into words what that means to us as a family.

As parents, nothing prepares you to watch your child face something so heavy. Rare cancer is isolating, terrifying, and full of unknowns. The treatments available are outdated, insufficient and inexcusable. What makes each day survivable—what makes it hopeful—is community and research. Cycle for Survival sits right at the intersection of both.

Every ride and every dollar donated helps drive research that gives families like ours options, answers, and more time with our loved ones.

Each of these three rides is happening in a different place, but they carry the same heartbeat: we are not doing this alone. We ride for Sienna. We ride for the loved ones we’ve lost. We ride for those currently fighting. And we ride for the children and families who have yet to be diagnosed—because they deserve better options from the very beginning.

While our journey is deeply personal, it is far bigger than our family. The Cycle for Survival community is showing up across cities and across the country to drive necessary change in an underfunded world. We must keep shining a light on stories like Sienna’s—because progress, funding, and lives depend on it.
