Each ride represents a different part of the community that has carried us through Sienna’s fight.

Darien is filled with so many of the people who have been with us from the beginning, the friends who show up in our day to day lives and support our family through all of the unexpected and unpredictable.

Long Island brings together our LI fan club, close friends and family who continue to fight alongside us.

And this year, we are especially excited to join the MSK Kids Ride in NYC with our New York and New Jersey friends and family, our extended MSK family, and other families impacted by childhood cancer. We want to bring more families into the magic of Cycle for Survival and ride alongside people who understand firsthand why this research matters.

Why We Ride
When Sienna was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer, our world stopped. We started Team Sienna Strong because we needed a way to turn the enormous amount of love and support surrounding her into action.

Cycle for Survival gave us that.

Nearly two years into Sienna’s fight, we understand the importance of research in a way we wish we never had to.

As parents, nothing prepares you to watch your child face cancer. Rare pediatric cancers are underfunded, and there are simply not enough treatments or options when the standard ones stop working.

We are living what it means to wait for the next option. To need the science to move faster. To hope that somewhere, someone is working on an answer for your child.

The funds we raise can be directed to research at Memorial Sloan Kettering, focused on rare, underfunded and complex pediatric cancers like Sienna’s. Every rider who joins us, every person who shares our story and every dollar raised helps put more resources behind research that can create better options for these kids.

Bigger Than Our Family
Sienna's cancer has introduced us to families we never would have known otherwise. There is your family, your chosen family, and then there is the cancer family you never chose but who somehow becomes your lifeline.

We have met incredible children and parents walking their own impossible paths, and their stories have become part of ours.

That experience led us to create RARE Kids Foundation, a mission born from Sienna’s fight but created to help many.

#SiennaStrong will always be where this began. #RAREKidsFoundation is how we hope to take everything her fight has taught us and use it to help more children and families facing rare pediatric cancers.

Ride With Us. Fundraise With Us. Fight With Us.
We ride for Sienna and the fight she is still very much in.

We ride for the children and families who came before us.

We ride alongside those fighting today.

And we ride for the children who have yet to be diagnosed, because when that day comes for another family, we want there to be more options waiting for them than there were for ours.
